Retroception by Play With Your Mind
In the game of Retroception, you will be trying to click on targets after they disappear. In the beginning of each round there will be a number of blue targets visible on your screen. Each target has two different zones: an outer zone as defined by the large ring and a bull's eye in the center of the circle. Every few seconds, one of the targets will disappear. The goal is to try to click as close as possible to where the bull's eye was (before it disappeared). If you hit it directly, it will give your score a big boost, but as long as you get within the outer zone, you will have hit the target. If you don't hit within the outer zone, you will score a miss (not clicking at all when you should have counts as a miss too). Complete the round with fewer than 10 misses in order to move on to the next round. The faster you are, the more accurate you are, and the fewer mistakes you make, the higher your score will be. In the early rounds, all of the targets are the same. However, after you cycle through one series of levels, a set of red targets will be introduced. This is trickier because it is still the regular blue targets that you are going for. The new targets are just decoys. They are there to distract you, and if you click trying to catch a red target, it will register as a miss. In higher arounds, there are even more colors. After every three rounds, you will be able to play a bonus round. In this round you will be doing something similar, in the sense that you will need to perceive the past, but in this instance you are trying to remember what disappeared instead of where it disappeared from. In the bonus round, you will be shown a set of letters. These letters will disappear one by one, and you have to use your keyboard to guess them as they vanish. The more you get correct, the higher your score. You cannot lose during the bonus round. |
